I know I already mentioned that we purchased a half a pig from Seven Sons Meat Company, but as of yet we haven't tried all our cuts of meat. We gave half our bacon to our neighbor, since we don't eat bacon much and they enjoy it from time to time.
But we got some out today to enjoy over potato soup, and ohhhhhhhhhh. I don't think we can ever go back to grocery store bacon. This, I agree, was one happy pig.

I think that it is the best bacon ever. They should make WHOLE pigs out of this bacon...wait, that sounds like GM, doesn't it?
I notice that I can pick up bacon from Ossian in any grocery store around. While I think buying direct from the farmer is better, this is a good local option if you haven't planned ahead.
YUM! That means I can get more bacon without working through the rest of the pig! Not that the rest of the pig is bad; but, of course, it's not made o' bacon...
